About Mridul Krishna Shastri Ji
Shri Mridul Krishna Shastri ji is a spiritual leader and a Guru for many people around the world. Shri Mridual Krishna Shastri ji's melodious Bhajans awaken the inner light and bring out the divine presence. People gather in large number to hear his Bhajans and Kathas. His knowledge of Sanskrit and spirituality helps people to have self realization and feel closer to the Supreme power.
Shri Mridul Krishna Shastri ji was born in Vrindavan in the family of Saint Swami Haridas Maharaj of 15th century, who was also the founder and rejuvenator of classical Indian Music. Swami Haridas ji was also the Guru of Famous musicians such as Baiju Bawara and Taansen. Maestros like Taansen and Baiju Bawara are considered as musical Guru. Shri Mridul Krishna Shastri ji’s father Acharya Goswami Shri Moolbihariji Shastri and mother Shrimati Shanti Goswamiji got Shri Mridul Krishnaji Maharaj as blessing of Goddess Saraswati. He got his elementary teachings of Bhagwat, Sanskrit Moolpath & Sanskrit Language from his father. He learnt 8000 shlokas and chaupai of Shriram charitmanas. It was at the age of 16, he started Shrimad Bhagwat in Haridwar at the banks of river Ganga. Since then he has completed more than 700 Bhagwat Kathas.
