If the terrace or compound wall is covered or constructions made adjoining the compound wall as shown in the figure, irrespective of the road facing, including placement of heavy weight, machinery, tarpaulin etc. the consequences are severe.

Irrespective of the road facing, if there be defects in the shaded areas, its consequences may be either minor or severe as described here under.

NorthEast : Morning 5:00 am sun will be rising in NorthEast corner. In this direction stair case, loft, shelf, almirah, and on the terrace stair case cover, water tank, toilet, room etc. are vastu defects. Consequences are all family members specially earning members being always worried, unwell, having no progress, financial stringency, no recognition in society and first & fourth child having troublesome life and martial discords.
          Shaft, duct, open space etc in this side causing constriction of NorthEast corner as also while covering on the terrace (if the height increases by more than a foot) are vastu defects. Consequences would be harsher.

East : Morning 6:00 am sun will be in East direction. In this direction stair case, loft, shelf, almirah, and on the terrace stair case cover, water tank, toilet, room etc. are vastu defects. Central Area: The shaded area is prime central area and adjoining is the central area. Bore well, septic tank, ditch, column if be in the shaded area, the complete family and in particular head of the family & first child would have troubled life. Progeny may be destroyed.

          If there be shaft / duct / open area in this corner, this corner is constricted and adverse effects will be similar.

NorthWest : Evening 7:30 pm sun will be setting in NorthWest direction.           Main door, boring, septic tank, ditches etc located from the middle of North towards North-NorthWest also are vastu defects. Consequences would be similar.

Remedial Measures :

Constructions adjoining compound wall or parapet may be done towards South & West as shown away from the corner.







NorthEast: If Stair case, loft, shelf, slab etc are in the shaded area, these may be separated from the walls by cutting off the concrete at least 3 inches.
          Constructions on the terrace be demolished and made flat.
          On every floor, covering up shaft, duct, open area at this side should be with lighter material used for other construction. Such covering on the terrace should not exceed by more that one foot.

East: If Stair case, loft, shelf, slab etc are in the shaded area, these may be separated from the walls by cutting off the concrete at least 3 inches.
          Constructions on the terrace be demolished and made flat.

Prime Central Area : If there be stair case, column or any construction in the shaded area (prime central area), these must be demolished.
          Shaft, duct, open area in the central area need not be covered.
          Note that on the terrace such covering (if any) should not exceed by higher that one foot.

South : Boring, septic tank, ditch etc in this area be filled up with sand and leveled.
          No main door be there in this area.
          If stair case be in this area along with main door, the door need not be closed.
          Covering of shaft, duct, open area on this side should be done by using similar material used for terrace.

SouthWest: Any construction in this area on the terrace must be demolished. Such constructions should be away from the corner by three feet.
          Shaft, duct, open space etc in this area be covered using similar material used for other construction. Such covering should not exceed by higher that two foot.
          Boring, septic tank, ditch etc in this area be filled up with sand and leveled.
          No main door be there in this area. If stair case be in this area along with main door, the door need not be closed.

West : Boring, septic tank, ditch etc in this area be filled up with sand and leveled.
          No main door be there in this area.
          If stair case be in this area along with main door, the door need not be closed.
